I personally don’t really care for Greek mythology but TSoA had me in a chokehold. It was one of the reasons I got back into reading. In my personal opinion it was confusing when I read it the first time but I gave it another try a few days later and everything made sense. I don’t think you need to like Greek mythology to enjoy this book, I think you just have to have a general knowledge of it.

I feel like booktok has made people genuinely forget that real and different reactions to books exist. It is okay for someone to not like a book that you absolutely loved. Peope have different preferences and expectations when going into books. We don't depend on a hive mind to curate thoughts and opinions. It's fine i promise😅

Even though I don’t agree with some of the things she is saying I love seeing how there is a variety of opinions that everyone feels comfortable sharing and just because I absolutely love and adore the song of Achilles as well as all of Madeline millers writing I know that it’s not for everyone and I’m glad that she has shared how she feels
