Thank you. I bought a foot rest online to attach it in my ikea chair base. I watched several YT videos and look for "how to guides" in forums in disassembling the chair few days ago but the best I got is hammering the base out of it. So today after hammering the base with my wrench 3 times with mediocre intensity, I thought I should try to search for instructional video in youtube for one last time. And by miracle, this video is the second one in the search result.
