Thank you for sharing your anecdotes professor! You made me laugh with your crazy hair story 🤣 you could do an infommercial for this pommade...
You are a resourceful man.
Tu as un bon système D, as we say in french!
I hope the next gig will go smoother for the trio, but truth is: trouble makes good stories 😄

Haha...😁 This is sooo good! Real life on the road as a blues musician. I love that you discovered a new pomade to keep everything looking right top side. I actually had to buy a can of Murray’s Pomade when I was in your hometown of Oxford Mississippi last. It became a great souvenir from the trip. 😉

Hey Adam, have you looked into any of the modern amp in a box pedals? The Joyo American Sound is on Amazon for $40 and plugs into the mixer. I'd love to see some reviews of this type of product from you. Hell, I buy one for if it'll help.

Funny stuff. You could try a ABY box too, might find its more durable than that Y cord.

I know what you mean. I played for almost 40 years on the road and you have to be prepared and be your own roadie.

I know exactly what you mean. I spent most of 15 years on the road with a rock/blues band touring night clubs...festivals...opening for big name bands and living outa a suitcase in motels and band houses up the east coast and Gulf states in another lifetime. Put enough miles on my ass for a life of musical commitment with all its issues and drawbacks. You only have to do THAT ONCE ....Thankfully

I am always nervous with the electronic gear on stage. I once got zapped really good off a mic . I always think about Keith Relf and man we lost a good one there . I loved his harp playing . I think it was his strongest skill . Think of Keith next time you want to stick your fingers in a plugged in amp . Be careful . If you sell your soul you probably won't have so may problems . I refer you to route 66 . Lol

Wow. Cables, tubes/sockets, batteries, splitters, micing an amp, hair, losing temper...you didn't mention any issues with reeds, so that's good, right? What a trip.
