Sorry for the super short and shaky video, it was windy that day and I tried adding a stabilization effect to the video, but it didn't really help. This is a HPS bulb that is cycling. It is doing that because the bulb is at the end of its lifespan (usually around 20,000 hours). Each time the bulb is powered on, the amount of sodium in the bulb decreases, and that requires the operating voltage to get higher, and higher, and eventually the bulb will not turn on anymore because the supplied voltage is not high enough.
