I admire you, your honesty and your commitment to your goal, you clearly would have made considerably more money if the downs were not as harsh. Let us consider the magnitude of the achievement from $1 to $147k is nothing less than outstanding. Well done

One thing that you MUST understand to get rich: FAILURE IS OKAY. No “failure” is a complete loss. You will always learn something from that experience that will HELP you later as long as you’re not scared you might fail again. I still struggle to believe this whenever I fail, and I still struggle of being afraid of failure, but that’s why I always remind myself that failure is okay.

What I love about this is the transparency and honesty. I also love how it tells the story of a ‘year’. A year of life, regardless of trying to make one million or not, is a series of ups and downs.

Good for you, $147, 000K that's amazing! In a year, you're very inspiring, even having situational depression on top of that. You're incredible, very exciting and motivating.

I literally made this goal this morning and somehow this showed up at the top of my feed. Great video! I needed this!

You didn’t actually start with only 1$ in capital though, you started with huge personal savings & the security that you had the funds to pay for rent and food for a long time. You started with a huge skillset you could monetize on and with the knowledge how to legally set up a biz/ doing taxes and knowledge on investing. I‘m not saying what you achieved isn’t still incredibly impressive and inspiring, because it is. But I’m saying that it’s a lot harder for someone with zero skills, biz knowledge and literally no money to pay next month’s rent to do what you did. Because they are really starting from zero, while you started from a privileged position. (This isn’t meant as criticism, just an observation.) Anyways, I think your experiment is really inspiring!

Sir, I admire you. Never give up, and never surrender. Any setback is a “lessons learned”. Bounce back hard and keep moving forward.

The major lesson i take from your experience is thats its not to late, if you push yourself 1 year is enough to turn everything around and thats incredibly inspiring. Great work sir.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

Good to see you bring up the difference between revenue, profit, etc. The 147k you made should be considered gross income which is nothing wrong with that. 99% of the time people talk about their income they're talking about gross earnings

“Maximum effort!” If the goals are easy, they probably are not going to help you grow. It looks like you have learned a lot. You’re on your way!

It's amazing, because this literally speaks to how we gravitate back to what we are subconsciously set to. He was making 120k a year, lost everything, and gravitated to making approximately the same thing. Once he makes that upshift in making 500k a year, he'll likely start making that consistently.
