The problem is that you don’t know how to change a tire

False, that's just with any other car. Maintenance is slightly higher than non-foreign cars, but 3.0 TFSI is one of the best Audi engines, and the ZF transmission is perfect. Be ready to do some maintenance on your own, and if you take your car to the dealership for regular maintenance such as oil change, brakes, suspension, etc.. you should not own a vehicle if you are struggling. Find a German Mechanic nearby and start going there rather than the dealership.

Audi and in particular A7 with 3.0 engine is one of the most reliable german cars out there, but there is a fact that you should keep in mind if you respect your car will respect you back do service regularly and enjoy the ride

I was actually nervous for the guy under the car. Literally trusting his life to that jack in the snow then to top it off you sitting in the boot. Please stay safe

Just sounds like bro can’t afford to take care of his A7 acting like this even scratches the surface of foreign car ownership. So cringe watching this tbh.

The first problem was buying one with 100K on it….those issues are expected at that mileage unfortunately. Also it’s not an entry level luxury car…it’s 3 models that are lower than the A7 and only one under the A8. I bought mines with 30K miles three years ago and haven’t had any mechanical issues…I love it. I’ve done oil changes, brakes and tires over the years maintenance wise. My advice with any foreign car is to get one with low mileage and grab an extended warranty….which are unfortunately pricey. Mines was $6, 200, which bumped up my car note, but all in all, The Batmobile was a sound purchase.

That’s why I bought my A7 with an extended warranty. Paid $3900 for it and already had $13500 worth of work in less than two years. Still have 4 years left on it 😌👌🏼

Just buy the parts and oil. Do it yourself. Save money and take care of your car well. Always check your oil level.

Just bought my a7 49k for 22k also . Had it only 2 weeks and the intake manifolds are stuck open and I have a bad battery but honestly if you just do it yourself or find a “German car specialist “ it can save you half the cost too.

the things u said weren't reliability issues they were things that were clearly broken

Don’t talk shit about a car when you don’t even know what you’re doing with it

Why buy a car if you can’t afford the maintenance of it 🤦🏾‍♂️. That’s just stupid

LOL he said "you gotta change the oil??" hahah like what!? Who knew you had to do that every 4-6 months!???

I have a 2012 A7 with 140k miles and it's still going strong. Why? Because I keep up with everything. Every 60k miles i change the transmission fluid, it costs about $700 but paring that every 60k miles is a whole lot better than paying $4, 500 for a new trans. After 100k miles get a carbon cleaning, yeah it costs about $900 but itll keep your engine clean and happy and healthy. The 3.0T engines are some of the best Audi has ever made BUT like all cars you have to take care of it and yes it costs a little more than say a Honda Civic but your also getting a whole lot more car than that so...
