Coronavirus: China expels reporters for article it deemed racist - BBC News

China has ordered three foreign journalists of the Wall Street Journal to leave the country over an opinion piece it said was "racist".

The article published on 3 February criticised the country's response to the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

The Chinese foreign ministry said it had asked the newspaper to apologise several times but it had declined.

The newspaper said the journalists - who had not written the opinion piece - were given five days to leave China.

China's decision came a day after the US State Department tightened rules on Chinese state media organisations operating in the US, classifying them as foreign missions.

What happens if these people on the Ship got infected the last day of the Quarintine and are now heading home, It wont take long before they start infecting people . They should have all been removed from that ship and isolated in smaller groups that way you could have 100 percent guaranteed no one walked of thast boat infected .

The one thing most people in the effected area and those exposed and infected don't do is to disinfect their smart phones. Thats one thing they touch and touch all day long and never disinfect. You may wash your hands and go back to touching your infected phone. Disinfect your phone too.

I'm really struggling to find the logic in letting all those leaving the ship get on public transport and mingle with everyone. Clearly the quarantine didn't work and now these people are being let loose to infect everyone? Even their own relatives probably do not want any of them around them too. 🤔
