They sand down the grip because it prevents the grip tape from peeling up in the future

Love this video! I'd like to see "A Skate Session with Chris Chann" video. Just record all the tricks you get in a day of skating at Lake St. That would be sick! It was cool to see you do all the tricks at the end in one sesh.
