As someone with BAD anxiety, this is how I think people will act to me at the skatepark.

I use to think skate parks were like this when I was younger but I would still go with friends. I was usually nervous that people were judging me until I was gonna drop in for the first time. there was this group of 3 guys who were just stood watching and started to clap even when I would fuck up, the one guy even told me to use his helmet. people just need to realize most skaters just like hanging out, helping each other, and having a good time.

I love how he says “I’m going to drop in on the mega ramp” but it’s like 4 feet 😂

First time I went, I felt intimidated by the two groups of people taking up both ramps, did shuvits in the corner for 20 minutes then went home. I went the next day though in the morning when no one was there and learnt more.

I thought it would be like this but my first experience was really nice, 2 strangers were helping me and giving me tips and showing me how to do simple tricks, but then again I am in Canada
