This is “Storm of Steel”, the first mission of the campaign where you play multiple different French/British soldiers (all of whom die, save the last) defending against an onslaught of German troops. It’s fuckin raw

Battlefield 1 will always be one of my favorite shooters. Not only did it have a thrilling and action packed multiplayer and an excellent music score, but it’s campaign brought such an emotional and immersive experience. Every battle in campaign always carried this lingering feeling of dread in the back my mind.

Never experienced the same lighting and atmosphere in a game since, best I have ever felt in a game and seeing the cleanish map at the start and then seeing the damage at the end is just amazing, battlefield really excelled with this game

This may be the campaign, but there is a video of a guy doing no HUD online though. Honestly it's even more intense too.

Have the game but haven't started yet. Hope there is a hud mode for compass directions only. You can tell health by red in screen and counting bullets is immersive. Would love to play the game this way (the achievement banners especially are way too distracting for me...)

Surviving countless waves of Germans only for their artillery to utterly carpet your area...This campaign was gritty and I loved it.

no hud multiplayer is good on any bf game too never tried it in campaign tho. only thing is you have to remember what team you’re on or you’ll end up killing your own teammates.

Except unlike BF4 they didn't have any HUD sliders so there was no way you could PTFO and have virtually no HUD at the same time. their new HUD options are ASS for every new frostbite game.
