Really nice Alain, I got my breakthrough a couple of month ago regarding the values, now with color I struggle here and there and this video helped me to remember some key things about it. Thanks for the video, keep it up. :)

Love your videos. Definitely one of the better teachers out there. Small tip: you might want to put a link to both your website (to sign up to get the free videos) and the link to sign up for your classes in person under the "about" section on each video. Having a link available directly under the video should help web traffic and possibly sign ups. Hope to see many more videos from you in the future and you need way more followers!

beautiful painting Alain. I did a couple of small pastel color studies to try to work out an acrylic painting i am struggling with (not too familiar with acrylic yet). Absolutely love all your videos. I have been oil painting for over 5 years and my instructor suggested that I explore pastels and it was love! I have a 120 half stick Sennelier set, a 90 Rembrandt set and a 30 Faber-Castel set. My Sennelier set is used the most. I am finding that I might need more colours such as greys. I’m not sure if this is my desire to get more delicious pastels, or an actual need. Lol Would it be a good investment? Our selection in Ottawa, Canada is limited. But I found a store in Southern Ontario with some Diane Townsend. Some day I hope to attend your workshop. You are awesome.
