Roy is one of the best goalies of all time! he also was always known to have a fire inside him, poke checks, skating out to center ice..Roy can say or do anything he wants

Roy is as old school as it gets. Yeah kids excited he scored his 30th, but it’s more about “don’t embarrass yourself by embarrassing the other team.” Love Roy’s reaction. Good on him to get the team back to humble.

If you score, celebrate. I don’t care. I’d much rather see this every night then see what Roy did when he was down 4-1 with 4 minutes left. He gave up on the game, skated past center ice and took a penalty. We’ve seen so many games tied in the last minutes due to 2-5 goals scored in the 3rd, it’s absolute bullshit if you think it’s impossible.

I agree with Patrick completely, if you're going to celebrate when you team is down by four and at this point has just been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, you're showing that you care more about your own achievements then your teams, and that's the real problem here. If you celebrate after the game that's totally acceptable because it's a noticeable achievement but right then and there you're showing very low class.

Roy was spot on.... I liken it to a linebacker standing over a receiver he just flattened when his team standing is on the ass-end of the barrel, & they are down by three TD's.

I think this is foreshadowing as to where duchene is now. Kinda seems like an “all about me” teammate. Maybe that’s why he’s fell off.
