In Rebrith, while climbing to the Niblehiem reactor, Yuffie asked Cloud if he would join Wutai. She then says the whole group could join the “Yuffie Recon Patrol” or YRPs. Another call back to Final Fantasy X-2, since YRP in that game means Yuna, Rikku, and Paine.

How do you confuse the Tiny Bronco with the Highwind? 😂

The video portion of Aerith with the airship is her with the Tiny Bronco, not the Highwind.

It's the dance Aerith performs in chapter 13 that gets me, it looks like the one Yuna from FFX performs when she does sendings and I was screaming when I saw it

you don't need to replay the chapter 11 to get that bladed staff for aerith. if you miss it a vendor in sector 5 sells it in chapter 14.

@6:57 That's the Tiny Bronco, not the Highwind. It's even written twice on the wings... RIP

About the Lion King bit. Tetsuya Normua stated that Lions are his favourite animal and that the Lion King is one of his favourite movies.

Yuffie also hums the victory theme in Rebirth in addition to Barret. As well, she sings her own variant of the chocobo theme, too!

Also in cosmo canyon when you get access to the town vault you can find pictures of RedXIII's father Seto and mother along with a tiny Nanaki

There’s a callback to Crisis Core when taking Yuffie to the sky wheel in the gold saucer. She’ll mention that she once met a SOLDIER and she wanted to prove herself by showing her best moves. She then says he eventually said “Ya got me!” And that she bought it at first but he was just playing along for a dumb kid. This references on a side quest in Crisis Core chapter 3 I think when obtaining the Chocobo summon, Zack will run into the person who’s been sending him spam, The Treasure Princess, that being a younger Yuffie where the events Yuffie explained to Cloud play out.

Hmmm.. I don’t think the portrait in Shinra Manor is a young Rufus 🤔
I suspect that’s a portrait of Rufus’ father when he was younger

Another Dachao callback can be heard while climbing Mount Nibel and Yuffie recounts having to climb the giant statue as part of her Ninja training.

They never said it'll end with the events of advent children, they've said that the story "links up with" advent children. VERY different. I think this means AC has already happened in the original game's timeline, and now the "Omni" versions of Sephiroth and Aerith have already experienced the events of AC.

I've been thinking a lot about the potential title for the third game in the Final Fantasy VII trilogy, and "Resurrection" seems to make the most sense for several reasons:

1. **Hall of Resurrection**: The term "Resurrection" has already been used in the Hall of Resurrection, setting a thematic precedent.

2. **Nomura's Naming Theme**: Nomura has stated that the name "Rebirth" was chosen to evoke themes of starting anew. Following this pattern, "Resurrection" fits perfectly for the third game, as it continues the theme of renewal and revival.

3. **Progression of Power**: If you consider the progression from remaking something, to rebirth, and then to resurrection, each term becomes more powerful. Remaking something is a lesser feat compared to giving birth to something, which involves creating life. Resurrection, however, is the ultimate feat—bringing something back to life, which has never been achieved. This aligns with the trilogy's goal of escalating the stakes and achievements with each installment.

Given these points, "Resurrection" seems like the most fitting and powerful title for the final game in the trilogy.

An easter egg that I’ve found (in crisis core), is that there is a craftsman in the sector five slums that you can talk to as Zack. While talking to him, he mentions that he is collecting materials to make a bar in the sector seven slums, and he asks Zack what he thinks it should be called. I don’t know all the answers but I know that one is seventh heaven, and another of the lucky turtle, referencing the bar mentioned in intergrade.

The best easter egg has to be the Test 0 enemies

I am still curious how Deep Ground and the Tsviets will play into the larger Remake story

Never played Dirge of Cerberus so Nero was new to me when I encountered him. But his looks, abilities and mannerisms (on top of all of the easter eggs between FF7 and 10) were giving me serious Anima vibes. I really felt like it was a direct call back to that aeon which was definitely the coolest one at least for me.

@12:27 you say that the only thing you get from the Pride and Joy fight is the trophy...when you get an accessory that gives you a full limit break every battle? Did you even play these games as this is like the 3rd thing you got wrong
