I totally teared up hearing her cry. It reminded me when we adopted our boy Bailey as a puppy and he would cry for his mommy. Breaks my heart, but at least she is going to a loving home :)

Guys, while it is nice to adopt dogs, you don't have go criticize anyone who buys from a breeder. A lot of shelter dogs can have health issues and not every dog owner is capable of handling that. She obviously loves this dog very much and I'm upset at the amount of people bashing her for getting a dog from a breeder. If you want to adopt from a shelter, all the power to you. I intend to adopt too, but she's very happy and you all should be too.

i'm a real cat person, but this vlog literally made my heart melt. piglet is the cutest thing! also, i can't seem to help but feel sorry for her because she will never be able to keep up with squidge and treacle as she is so small, bless her!

It helps to put a clock under her bed so she can hear ticking - mimics moms heartbeat or brothers and sisters - i had a red long haired miniature doxie. She was my heart - loved her. RIP Sadie - you will love doxie personalities. ❤️

Dachshunds are AWESOME dogs! I read a comment stating you should never get a dachshund because they have back problems, but I have 2 10-yr old mini doxies and they are extremely fit and have no back problems whatsoever. We keep them at a healthy weight, don't allow them  to jump from furniture and we don't have stairs in our home. Every single breed (esp. purebred dogs) has specific health issues, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't have one of those dogs. 
My best advice for doxie owners is to not overfeed them, keep them trim and fit and feed them a really, really high-quality dry dog food. No bones of any kind, no table food, no wheat and regular vet visits. Of course, that's my advice for any dog owner.

Awh, she is SO adorable! So happy for you and your newest addition. I felt so horrible taking my dog away from his siblings and mom but now he loves having all of the attention :)
