I topped off my Christmas shopping today, people do not look happy out and about.
Also met with my financial advisor who informed me he feels that at least 60 percent of Americans are in a depression.

I picked up butter at 2.29 lb at Aldi. Limit of 6. Thank goodness my daughter was shopping as well. I had her buy 6 as well lol. Can’t beat that butter price.

I made some pretty good pasta sauce this past fall. I only had 3 Amish Paste tomato plants and out of the harvest it made 6 pints of very thick sauce. It was a test drive to find a taste we both liked. Grand slam on the first sauce this past year.

I am a grocery sale shopper and sales have been harder to find in PA. Also even the sale prices are up.

This is what I've nocticed, over all food is still going up . The tricks they pull is, a few items will go down because others go up but still it's getting higher .

Thank You! One item we had to adjust on was dry dog food; it was suddenly being sourced from China, same packaging, and it was killing our dogs. Had to switch to an higher end American made dry dog food from YouTuber Mike Ritland, but these dogs are family! God Bless and Merry Christmas!

I did get spiral sliced ham for 1.49 a pound. I already cooked one and it was delicious!
