How to determine SALT FORMATION (molecular formula) in acid-base reactions | Chemistry with Cat

When a strong acid and base undergo a chemical reaction they make a salt and water! A classic exam question is to ask you to determine the molecular formula of the salt that will form after a reaction takes place, and here I will teach you how to do that! Really, what I'm teaching you what to do is determine oxidation states of atoms within a molecule, which will become SO handy when we learn about redox reactions, so might as well get the practice now!

Cat has a BMSc and MSc. SHE HAS BEEN IN YOUR SHOES AND STRUGGLED ON THOSE EXAMS! She currently tutors university and high school chemistry, and she's here to help YOU! She creates quick videos that teach you everything you need to know to not only pass chemistry but ace it!

The way you taught the concept I really liked it

Would you please make a video on "one of the topic from the chapter carbon and its compounds is homologous series" please 🤞
