It does belong in the value menu. I always get coupons for two chicken sandwiches and 2 fries for 4.99. I tried the impossible Whopper and it smelled like dry dog food. I also tried a bratwurst that was so nasty I tasted like a big weed

I used to like the Italian kinda when it was a value item but they came out with a better version of this that used their hand breaded chicken breast I think it was called the Parmesan Chicken Sandwich and it had the marinara sauce and mozzarella plus permasan cheese shavings on a round bun. I think you're right - this old Italian "international chicken sandwich" with the long shaped patty (which is processed meat byproduct) should be a value menu item and priced at least $2 less than it is currently. It tastes like something you would buy at a convenience store of a gas station rather than a restaurant specialty. Oh and I do remember the "international menu" - it was French (as you described it) this Italian one and an American chicken sandwich one which I believe is the same as their "original chicken sandwich" which is the same processed chicken patty with lettuce and mayo instead of cheese and mozzarella.

The sauce isn't too bad, however I think they put too much on it. They should try to improve it's taste. The chicken and the mozzarella cheese is good. Their new hand breaded chicken sandwich, especially the spicy one are alot better hands down. Great review
