The MIT Asia Conference in Accounting, hosted by the MIT Sloan Office of International Programs, is an opportunity for luminaries in accounting and finance to exchange ideas in the midst of one of the world's most exciting economies. Kothari talks about the tremendous economic and academic activity happening in Asia, and how the connections made at conferences such as this often lead to important research collaborations. The conference is the latest initiative to spring from MIT's nearly 20-year long collaboration with premier universities in China.
