What about people who get very heavy flow and would ordinarily change sanitary protection every hour? Some women get “flooding” with the slightest movement, severe abdominal cramps and pain and an aversion to certain smells that can cause nausea and for them to throw up. How does a surgeon manage all of these factors and symptoms?

Does this apply to breast reduction? Everything I read says being on your or close to your period says increased risk of complications, bruising, draining and the increased chance of needing surgical drains which I very much want to avoid.
