Buzzing with post-workout endorphins, this is a few thoughts on creating a sustainable (and entirely enjoyable) routine with fitness and healthy eating. It takes time, but well worth it!

1 - experiment to find the ones you truly enjoy
2 - start small when first incorporating new habits
3 - focus on improving the current weakest link

That's very nice!
You got 1+ subscription! 😬

Here's how I found your channel: I decided to wear the same black tee, because I love the fact to don't have to make decisions about clothes, I also have black as my favorite color (or absence of... LOL)
And, after searching, firstly saw Matt's video, then your video. And your way of thinking was the catchy part that makes me want to keep here.

I also kind of hate go to the gym, but my wife loves and she helps me a lot. While I'm really getting good results, my mind about doing exercises is changing and I think I "like" to workout hahaha

And the last but not least, I'm trying to improve my English, since I'm Brazilian and have Portuguese as native language.

Watch your videos helps me to become more fluent. Specially when I turn on the closed captions and try to speak at the same time 🤣

So, thank you 😊 🙏

Life is too short not to enjoy yourself! FACTS! I have been slowly dancing to the beat of my own drum! I'm definitely getting that feeling from this video! Thank you!

I've been going to the gym solely to enjoy being there and build a habit and your description of your journey so far is very validating for me -- thank you! ❤️

Thats a good one! I have found flys on a bench with the weights (I'm not talking about insects) are fantastic for lung function and asthma management! The cool thing about weights also is that you can have a small set at home (a minigym?) at very little outlay and they save you driving to the gym! Now I just need to work out how to stop my knees creaking and I'll be good! LOL - also don't forget yoga if that is ok with you - oh Cats are also great at yoga - just saying! 😇

You put into words what I've been trying to explain to people but couldn't

Great video as always, loving the short narrative type of videos you're going for. I'm on my own journey to healthy living and the way you've put what I feel into words helps a ton. Thanks :)

no idea who you are—but I loved this!

getting ready to go for a run right this moment, which is something that I never used to enjoy before I started going together with my partner—it because a low-stress & off-screen activity where we could support each other through those moments of discomfort and cheer each other on!

This was the first episode from the daily video series, I think,
That felt like it could have naturally ended with the "till next time: 😉"

Yes but I hated steamed kale at first but now it's almost tastes like candy to me. I steam the kale and then I drain off any excess water and then I sprinkle on some balsamic vinegar while it's still warm. Very good for your endothelial cells. Of course there are six or seven other green leafy vegetables that you can steam as well. Cheers to fitness and health

There was this graffiti in my way to school that changed my life "May your food be your medicine or your medicine will be your food" I understood it but because I was a teen-ager was not really able to choose what to eat, it wasn't until I got pregnancy problems (18 years ago) that I drastically changed my diet. Now I can't eat a lot of things people find "normal" that my body just can't process... Like mix oil, red meat or overloads of sugar, on the same note there are things I eat that most people feels disgusted to, like raw eggs or ridiculous amount of greens.... I like a lot of your content because it gives voice to my thoughts. You make me remember that I'm the one on a path and it is my choice and so on, and it is not wrong. If I keep writing this long comments I should just made videos about it xD

Bouldering is what's most fun for me. An overlap of mind and body. Other forms of exercise, like weightlifting, calisthenics and yoga, fall into place to support climbing. Movement of any kind is what I look forward to in my day. It's legit just for me, and I always feel better after a session.

I felt the same way about exercise before I found weightlifting and calisthenics. Having also changed my mindset, now feel like I can enjoy many ways of moving my body

I thought I hated sports because I was never a competitive person. Also my middle school PE teacher was calling me retard3d for sports, my father is a very competitive person, and I just never gave up sometimes in middle school.
But then I got hit by a car and I felt like I had to do _something_
I started going to guided gym sessions with a coworker and that coach taught me that 1 - it is not about being competitive but about enjoying it and 2- I’m actually pretty good at it when I don’t have someone screaminf at me how I’m retart3d for sports and I will never amount to anything and should just stick to maths cause I’m embarassing
3- all those things I find fun like walking hiking swimming dancing - they’re also physical activity and physical activity doesnt have to be competitive and hard
Now I enjoy weights, yoga, pilates, cardio … If someone told this to 14yo me I would have just laughed

I come from an athletic background and love this mentality. I do jiu jitsu and climb because it's fun, and more of a game to me than a workout, and it's awesome to see what my body can accomplish.

This made me think of antifragile. Do you have any experience with, or thoughts on, the antifragile approach?

P.S. I don’t comment often but want to express my gratitude for your daily videos. They feel really good for me. Thanks! 🙏✌️

I've dealt with exercise induced asthma, so this has been double difficult for me 🤷🏼‍♀️ but hey, it's never too late to start, right? 😁👑🌹

Good tips, because I'm not a fan of the gym I went to the gym for about a year before I quit. Then I tried a crosstrainer at home. But it hurt my foot after a while. Now I just try to walk as much as possible. That's working pretty well.
