Johnny Galecki's Family: Girlfriends, Siblings, Parents

Johnny Galecki is a talented actor who is most noted for a role of Leonard Hofstadter in The Big Bang Theory TV series. During all his acting career, he took part in over 50 projects, among which one can find horror movies, dramas and action films.
He debuted on a big screen at the age of just 12, having featured in Murder Ordained. A little bit later he appeared in such Hollywood movies as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Vanilla Sky, etc. However, Galecki reached stardom after TV series Roseanne and became a real movie star having got one of the main roles in The Big Bang Theory.
It would be also interesting to know that apart from the filmmaking world, the actor is going to produce own scientific show.
And now, let’s have a closer look at the celebrity’s family.

Johnny’s father’s name is Richard and he was a member of the US Air Force in Belgium. When a young starlet turned three years old, the whole family moved to America, where Richard used to teach blind veterans. Unfortunately, celebrity’s dad died in a car crash in 1991 at the age of 45.

The mother Mary is a very creative personality in her own right. She is an actress and a singer in an amateur theatre. In addition, she is a mortgage consultant. The mother and son are very close.

A movie star has two siblings, with both of them being younger. A sister Alison was born in 1979 and is four years younger than Johnny. She resides in Illinois and works as a regional spa manager.

The brother Nick is the youngest among three siblings, who was delivered in 1981. He is a mechanical engineer by profession.

Galecki has never been married but had a couple of serious relationships with famous women. For instance, since 1992 and till 1993 he had been dating an actress Sara Gilbert, who had a crush on him from the very first sight. They met on a set of Roseanne TV series. With the time, Gilbert was getting more and more depressed and that’s when she realized she was lesbian. Despite this fact, Johnny and Sara remained friends.

The Big Bang Theory co-star Kaley Cuoco had been in relationship with Galecki since 2007 till 2009. The couple preferred to keep their romance in secret and even after their separation they managed to stay good friends. The actor was even present at Cuoco’s wedding with Karl Cook.

Since 2011 and up till 2014 the film performer had been romantically involved with Kelly Garner, who also deals with acting. It seemed like they were madly in love with each other, visiting different public events together, sharing common pictures on social media, etc. Nonetheless, this union lasted only three years.

Since 2018 and up till present moment, Galecki has been together with a model and producer Alaina Meyer. The two love each other a lot and looks like they are never tired of one another. They enjoy traveling together and are expecting their firstborn that is due to be born in autumn of 2019.

Of course, the child’s name is not known as yet but obviously, the couple is very excited to become parents.
