There are soooo many different 5080 cards, but most of the video coverage out there is about Nvidia's Founders Edition which is very hard to get. Today, Adam partners up with Jon from LABS to take a look at different partner cards from MSI, Zotac, and Colorful to see how they compare to hopefully make your purchase decision a little easier.

I think the new 50 series cards from zotac look so much better than their older stuff, they’ve upped their game when it comes to that

Yall should tear them down and review the PCB quality. Point 1 - which ones have fuses? FEs dont, biggest reason to not get them. Point 2 - memory brand. Point 3 - number and quality of power phases. Point 4 - quality of the thermal pads. And maybe consider ease of disassembly for replacing the paste.

Many brands have way too much cost cutting. To drop four figures on a card, good supporting hardware and quality PCB are a must IMO.

That ship has sailed. Nvidea considers gamers a rounding error. I just bought a 9070 XT for my new build. AMD 9950x3D as well.

It sucks so much that these only have 16gb vram, its ridiclious.
Should have been 24gb, because now you get this wierd jump from 32gb and then down all the way to 16gb, without any steps in between.

All of these suck. The prices are straight up robbery. A 1080 was $650 in 2017 and could be bought for that price from any retailer without hassle. Now a 5080 is supposed to be $1000, but good luck finding one even listed for that price. The cheapest one you listed is $1600. Complete waste of money.
