I've been using most of these hacks for year except socks, (i leave shoes on), dont use curling irons for mitt and never thought about duct tape. But.... i do LOVE the Scope toothbrushes, vacation or not, i never leave home without them.

Great ideas. I use a Dollar Tree round bead/medicine holder for my jewelry. I'm able to put in most of my earrings as well as some thin necklaces. Make sure it is one which the tops stay clasped as some of them do not.

Don’t forget Dollar Tree’s wonderful selection of snacks, including nuts and dried fruits. Also, you can get. 5- or 6-pack of gum to share with your seat-row neighbors. And don’t forget to take a plastic bag from the grocery store (or Dollar Tree) to help dispose of your cleanser wipes when you’re done.

Great tips, especially wrapping duct tape around a pen rather than taking the whole roll! I also like to get zip lock bags in gallon and quart size from Dollar Tree, both sizes are always so handy for travel. I also recently found packages of carabiner clips at my local dollar tree, great for attaching something that won't quite fit in your personal item to the outside of the bag!

Great tips! I like to get over the counter meds at the Dollar Tree because they are packaged in small packs - perfect for travel because they don’t take up too much space.

I buy disposable rain coats (the clear plastic type that come in a little bag) to put in my day bag. Also like to buy the mini bath poufs and bring one or two of them with me to use with shower gel.

The dollar tree usually has very long lines during peak times.

Throwing socks away after one use is VERY wasteful. Maybe instead turn them inside out, take them home, wash, then reuse.
