Should you buy the iPad Mini 6? Well, it depends. Here is my 3-week review of the iPad Mini 6. I just spent 3 strange weeks with the iPad Mini 6. If you love tablets, like I do, you’ve probably seen SOME people say the Mini is a terrible iPad, they would never get it, or they’re taking it back.

And others think it’s an incredible iPad for them, and it’s exactly what they want - so... how can that be? How is it possible for people to have SUCH DRASTICALLY different opinions about the iPad Mini 6?

☕ WAS THIS VIDEO HELPFUL? BUY ME A COFFEE!!

What's up everyone?! I hope this 3-week review of the iPad Mini 6 was helpful. Did I cover what you wanted to know? What else did you want to see or learn about?

Would love to know what you think. Is this an iPad that you would use and why or why not?

The iPad Mini is for people who want a smaller form factor and portability. It delivers on that immersive experience *without* needing both hands

Hilarious, thanks for giving me a laugh today. Thanks for the review Sagi, I’m tempted.

For me it was absolute blessing. It was far more than I could have hoped for, my studying habits improved immensely. The screen is perfectly sized in my opinion.

I think a lot of people buy into the idea of an iPad as a laptop replacement (at least aspirationally)—thanks to tireless marketing in that regard by Apple—and those people are having a knee-jerk reaction to the mini 6. But a lot of us don’t—or have tried (and tried) and just prefer reaching for a MacBook for hard-core productivity tasks. And once you’ve learned that, try as you might, you really don’t like using your iPad with a keyboard (smart, magic, Bluetooth, or whatever), smaller iPads just become better iPads. I traded in my Air 4 for a mini 6 last week. I can’t put it down. I don’t even want to put it down. The points you made about weight, size, and ergonomics, they really do make the mini 6 unexpectedly delightful. The last time I remember that feeling this strongly with a new Apple device was my rev.1 iPod in 2001. It’s a feeling I never felt during five years I spent using larger iPads Pro with keyboards. I can honestly say this is my favorite tablet ever. And I don’t really think it’s niche, either. It seems to me the only thing that people point to in justifying calling it niche is that it’s harder to use with an external keyboard. If a keyboard is the whole selling point for an iPad, why not just buy a MacBook instead?

The only other iPad I've ever owned is an iPad mini 2. I've been waiting YEARS for this update, and am thrilled with the mini 6. I can't imagine hauling around a 12.9 inch iPad. I was tempted to get an Air or a Pro, but I'm glad I waited for the mini update. Love it.

Phone & tablet size has disproportionately risen lately when they were always originally intended to be small, the iPhone mini 13 & the iPad mini 6 are the perfect combination of fully functioning lightweight powerful products in a compact portable format, expensive yes but totally unique & niche.

Thank you for being so honest and unbiased. This is the first video that didn’t make me feel like I made a mistake for purchasing this product for the purpose I got it for. It’s exactly what I need and now I feel confident in my purchase. Subbed

I just recently discovered your channel. Thank you for having such thorough reviews. I find myself repeating your saying, "Buy it nice, or buy it TWICE!"

I love love love love my iPad mini . I have the air too, which I used as sidecar with the MacBook or as a laptop. But the portability from the mini like being able to take notes while you are working even from you car is totally worth the cost

I have absolutely loved my iPad mini with Retina display (iPad mini 2) for the past seven years. This iPad is big enough but never too big. It's CRAZY portable yet does almost everything any other iPad does. But this one fits in my jacket pocket so I can (and do) take it everywhere.

I feel the same about the size. It’s a ‘mini’ and I enjoy using this compact iPad. I have the 12.9 which isn’t for a casual on the go girl like me. I love both of my iPads.

I went and ordered one this morning. I'm going outside my box. Instead of Space Gray, I went with Starlight. I feel so ... rebellious! LOL Thanks, man.

I’ve an iPad Pro 9.7” and it’s redundant now I have the iPad Mini. Personally this is the iPad I’ve been waiting years for.

I bought an iPad Mini - 8 years ago. I did not like it for browsing - I use my 14" laptop for that.
I use my Mini almost exclusively when I travel for the following:
#1- as a GPS unit in the car - simply the best GPS ever !
#2 - as a side kick or mirror screen to view video a/w my laptop while on the road
#3 - & as an Reader

Over all these years that is about all I have used the mini for (I don't game)

I will likely buy the new Mini 6 as my old one is on it's last leg.

I upgraded from the previous 11inch ipad pro to the new ipad mini. No matter what ipad i was using, connecting the apple pencil to the ipad drained the ipad's battery. if you dont use the apple pencil, the mini lasts me about 2-3 full days with moderate to heavy use, the pro lasted about 3.5-4 days with moderate to heavy use. Honestly the battery isn't really an issue unless you're constantly playing power hungry games on the go all the time. I was able to play CoD mobile with an xbox controller and airpods connected for 8 hours starting at 75% battery on the mini with no loss in performance - even as the battery hit 10%. the battery in this thing is actually amazing for how small and light it is. if this means anything to you, I'd say you can confidently leave your home with the ipad mini at 35-40% battery and know it will get you through a full day of heavy use if you're not playing games

My iPad minii arrived a week ago. I’m a scholar, not a gamer, finally getting some use out of my Apple Pencil 2, annotating PDFs and practicing Chinese calligraphy. It was always too much of a hassle to undock my iPad Pro from the Magic Keyboard. Now the pencil is magic in my hand.

I’m a 3rd year Premed/Biochemistry student, so most, if not all of my classes don’t necessarily require a laptop, but I do need to take notes. After having the mini, most of the time, I ended up just shoving that sucker in my coat pocket without a backpack and going to lectures. I haven’t felt any limits in taking notes, besides the smaller display, but that’s just nitpicking considering I don’t need to even take a backpack with me. It’s honestly a gamechanger from my 11” iPad Pro that I used during quarantine at home.
