Hello and welcome to powerpoints to help you with your A-Level Further Maths Course. This is a course that I have studied the last two years and after positive feedback from my OCR FSMQ content, I have decided to put together some Further Maths stuff over the summer. PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT a qualified teacher and am merely doing this for fun and may not be the best teacher in the world!

I was wondering why i^2 isn’t 1 rather than -1 because surely you would have 2 minuses who chi would make a positive??

What's the difference between A level maths and A level further maths

Root of 200 is 10 root 2 only.
We do not consider negatives when we take the square root. That's why we use the +-sign in the quadratic formula.
