🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 35:
śhreyān swa-dharmo viguṇaḥ para-dharmāt sv-anuṣhṭhitāt
swa-dharme nidhanaṁ śhreyaḥ para-dharmo bhayāvahaḥ
🔴Superior is the law of one's own nature, though lacking in merits, to that of another even though well-observed. Death in working out the law of one's nature is superior; but an alien law is fraught with risk.
🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 36:
arjuna uvācha
atha kena prayukto ’yaṁ pāpaṁ charati pūruṣhaḥ
anichchhann api vārṣhṇeya balād iva niyojitaḥ
🔴Arjuna said:
Now, impelled by what does man commit sin? O Krsna!, though loath to sin, he is driven to it forcibly, as it were.
🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 37:
śhrī bhagavān uvācha
kāma eṣha krodha eṣha rajo-guṇa-samudbhavaḥ
mahāśhano mahā-pāpmā viddhyenam iha vairiṇam
🔴The Blessed Lord said:
This is craving, this is wrath, born of the constituent Rajas. he is voracious, a great sinner; know him to be the foe in this context.
