To the guys who are sceptical of these creatures. I'm an African who lives in Kenya an east African country. I come from the eastern side of it a vast area of with an arid climate and unexplored wild regions. Our place is known countrywide for several species of venomous snakes and in some areas pythons. It's a hilly terrain, during the rainy seasons it's all covered by vegetation and looks like one of them equatorial forests we see on tv. When I was a kid around twelve, my cousin and I went up my grandfather's farm. We live on one side of the largest hills and we went to the summit to hunt birds that eat the maize that had been planted that December. It was close to midday, fully sunny and no clouds. So as kids we were more playful than actually hunting. There is a small area on the hills summit that rocks have outgrown and can be visible possibly due to erosion. It's raised higher so you can have a vantage point of the entire farm from the rocks. We were playing as we moved towards it. We were not even close to it, I heard a sound as if people were dragging a large carpet on the ground. I stopped and looked towards the rocks. My cousin was still playing, I swear to all the gods, I thought a I saw a tree rising from the ground. Apparently a snake or a beast or whatever that thing was, was basking in the clear sun. It was facing away from us so it had to lift it's head and tilt it backwards to look at us. We were making a lot of noise playing around. I still remember to this day a large dark head, the size of a goat. The distance of it's raised head to the point where it's body touched the ground was taller than a tall person. You hear about paralysis from fear, I paralysed. I just stood there stunned. You lose the sensation of your surroundings. I still have a mental picture of that head. It was dark on top and white at the bottom part of the mouth. The eyes just stared at us, no blinking. From its wide mouth, it was dripping all sorts of some thick mucus. I have seen all sorts of large wild animals. But the evil in that face alone never seen it in any other wild animal. We weren't near it but I swear I could just see the details in its face, it had a freakishly large head and the sun just illuminated it clearly. I just froze and it stared back. A few moments later I just heard a loud blood curdling scream. My cousin who was still playing had then noticed it. I felt blood just rushing in my body and the urge to just run. The snake acted first. It took off away from us, that's when I noticed it's entire body. My cousin never saw it's body he had actually ran away and left me standing there. Don't ask me about feet's or metres all I saw is a massive snake that can only fit in a very large truck, those freight trucks. The sound it made when it moved is still vivid. Anyone who has ever dragged one of the large tents or carpets very fast on the ground. That whoosh noise they make. That's the noise it makes when it's belly was rubbing the ground as it moved. It hit the rocks and I could just hear the thumping on the rocks as it ran. All this happened in a matter of moments. It's speed of movement is terrifyingly fast. It had already gone far from us before I ran away on the opposite side. This was twenty years ago . My cousin and I are all grown up, he's married. Whenever we meet we still talk about the snake. He's never gone up the hill ever again. It took me almost a decade, until I joined university to master the courage to go up those rocks. The view of the surrounding hills from those rocks is still pretty. It's what entices me to go back. But my body still shudders like if I have a fever whenever I get close to that place. I can't control it. I still can't forget when we got home after running everyone told us we look as if we've seen the devil. Men from other villages were rounded up and for a week or so they went up the hills to search for it. No one saw it. My dad told me a story of how in the 70's a large snake roamed around and goats and dogs disappeared. So when I see documentaries like these from other parts of the world. I understand the fear. Sometimes you have to feel it to know it.

My village in india uttar pradesh during 1850s people burned a python and when they measured it with a bamboo that is 4 metres it was 5 times the bamboos it means the snakes 20 metres long the bamboo is kept still in the village so people should know about this snake it is real we dont have pictures but it is real my great grandfather's have written it in his book

Amazon just like Congo, Borneo and Papua forest has already existed since million of years and very few development inside. Undeniable that kind of creatures are still there.

In 1945, British army also saw really huge snake in Ledo Road in Burma, At first, they thought that was a japanese train when snake acrossed the bridge.

My late father was a jungle explorer for palm oil estate in Malaysia. When he was exploring one jungle in East of Malaysia back in the 70s, one night as he was going back to camp (camp was about 50km from nearest road) after watching a movie with my mother and older siblings (i wasnt born yet that time) they came across a huge snake crossing the road about halfway to the camp. They cant actually see how long it was because they cannot see the tail but the size is about the same size as the Jeep tyre my dad was driving at that time. (Imagine how huge it is!) My dad slowing the Jeep about 10-20 meters from the snake thinking it was a fallen tree but stop immediately when it moves! The snake raise its head and my dad slowly reverse the car for about 100 meters back. The snake didnt move and just staring at them probably stunned by the Jeep headlights. After about couple of minutes they decided to get the hell out of there and stay at a hotel in town for the night. They only go back at noon the next day when sun is directly on top and that snake was never to be seen again. My dad put out a warning for all personnel at the camp not to go out alone and it did scare the whole camp for couple of months.
My mother is still alive and well now and whenever we watch tv together and somehow if a huge snake showed up on tv she would recalled that snake she and my late father came across that night. Too bad my older siblings was still toddler age and was asleep in the car when it happened.

There's picture from a soldier in the Congo took a picture of a snake from a helicopter, later the photo was researched when compared to big termite nest, estimated the snake to be 200 foot/50 m? This could be the Yacumma they are talking about????😮😢

Green Anaconda's are well known to be extremely dangerous in Brazilian Amazon, fishermen have claimed to see them grab their pray whilst in a tree and roll it up before consuming it as they feed on sloths (sadly) and monkeys and birds in the trees, absolute monsters

Seeing videos of those massive Andacondas and realizing just how large 50m is compared to those 7-10m monsters puts in perspective just how absolutely massive this snake would be.

Was just in the Amazon a few days ago, and was told a story about a anaconda that took 2 hours to cross a river. Everyone thought that was a lie, until about a year later, they saw the snake in a tree shedding it's skin. They said it was so massive that it had slightly cracked the tree open and the snake had its head stuck in the tree. 7 men went out to kill it with sharp machetes, they said as the where striking the snake, it was like they where using dull blades, and they cut barely cut it, and the snake started constricting the tree, and they could hear the wood of the tree creak and crack from the force of the snake... They ended up killing the snake since it's head was stuck in the tree. They said it's body was as thick as the tree it self, and length about 30 meters

In Philippines, back in 60's we have an urban legend here about a giant snake. It lives inside a cave, so whoever/whatever goes inside the cave never goes out.
When the snake was hunted by the tribal group in that region, they said that the body of the snake was as thick as the regular pail, about 50cm diameter and believed to measure around 40-45 ft long.

Im from borneo. Here we have the Nabau . More or less the same size thats mention here
