just wanted to say thanks for helping. I grew up in the era that if something needed fixed you fixed it. We never had the luxury of just going out and buying whatever you needed. We either fixed it or fabricated it to make it work So by you and everyone who made these videos to help us fix it . man wouldn't it been helpful 30 or 40 yrs ago when we actually had to use our brains and figure it out Thanks . For showing me a different way.

Thank you for the carburetor terminology (round slide), it helps so much.

Awesome, thanks, I just put a Mikuni round slide carb on my 1972 Yamaha 338 snowmobile, and I'm trying to get it running better.

Super cool video!
Thank you!

I’m interested to know how it should be plugged in
I just bought mine.
They are saying I should be drilling a 5/32” hole in my flange for my vaccum ignition sensor. Is that really necessary ?

So you start with the air screw 1.25- 1.5 turns out, but where do you start with the idle screw?

Great video, what is your slide screw started at? All in? I’ve got the Mikuni 38 round slide on my XLCH, cranks up and runs strong while on choke, but when I snap it off choke it sputters out and dies. My main needle is one notch toward rich from middle.. 35 pilot jet. It’s hot and humid here in New Orleans. Thanks!

Thanks friend for your explanation, I would like to know if for a KZ440 twin-cylinder with 2 Keihin CV34s, it can be improved with 2 Mikuni34s or just 1, perhaps larger, would be enough and what size would you recommend?

Grazie amico per la tua spiegazione, vorrei sapere se per un bicilindrico kz440 con 2 keihin CV34, possa migliorare con 2 Mikuni34 oppure può bastare 1 solo magari più grande e che misura mi consiglieresti?

Yeah, nothing like just touching the start button and firing up. Smiles before the miles. 78' Iron

Did the VM 30 s for my Honda CM 400T rebuild. It starts with the choke levers down and and maybe for 3 or 4 min. it runs and quits. Now i gotta turn screws or something ?

I have a mikuni on my 69 tiger. Only runs with choke on, turn off choke and it bogs out in seconds. Needle set on 3rd (middle) Mix screw doesn't change a thing. Suggestions?
