Some people just want a reliable vehicle to go from point A to point B. I’d buy one in a heart beat.

So, when will this 10k truck be available here in the states? I'm sure, NEVER. If it does become available, I'll buy one right then and there, I like it!

I look forward to seeing it for sale in Canada, i'm a retired truck driver and not interested in buying what the big three are selling . I'm about getting back to basics and at a reasonable price .

The big three selling prices are way beyond ridiculously overpriced. It’s kind of refreshing to see that someone doesn’t only go by their profit margins. Too bad none of the big three can’t get their minds off of their profit margins and build a reasonably priced truck again.

IF it makes it to the US it will go from 10k to 15, 20, 25+ due to high demand. Don't expect to ever see it for 10K in the USA EVER!

I would be interested in one of these as a third vehicle. As long as its not electric and has a 4 cylinder gas or diesel with a standard shift transmission. Even an 90 hp turbo diesel should get 40 to 50 MPG easy unloaded. Something needs to be done to reign in the ridiculous vehicle prices we are seeing these days. Thank you Toyota for offering up some sanity. Hopefully the others will follow suit soon.

We'll never see this truck for $10, 000 in the U.S. by the time you add all the additional fees, dealer charges, and the "commodity surcharge" it's more likely to be double the MSRP.

No car maker beats Toyota for reliability - and thankfully they are making smart moves regarding sideling EV's.

Just goes to show you what a truck really costs to make. I bought my last truck (still have it) in 2013, at that time in the US a full size truck (no frills) cost the mfg under $11, 000 to make, that was it. This vehicle will never be sold in the US, not with the Federal Gov't forcing $55k+ EV down our throats. You can buy a lot of gas for $40k

1983 Toyota 4x4 truck that had basic simplicity and was tougher then foot leather ! Best truck that I've ever owned hands down by far

The problem is north American dealers will jack the price 2 to 3 times because they are greedy, just wait and see

It may not be a looker, but it'll definitely get the job done. And with the basic look of it, customization is gonna make it stand out.

Finally, and affordable vehicle! Ten thousand is plenty for a new car. Also, most new trucks cost $100 K and above. Not sure where you got the 30-70 thousand prices. That is way off.

I have passed on Toyota vehicles twice due to the price, going for a competitor because they offered the exact same thing, but at nearly $10k less than Toyota. It would be awesome to see Toyota rein things in a bit and offer something with a better, more affordable price.

It won’t meet CAFE standards. We’ll never see it

Why bother to tell us!?! We all know that it will NEVER be sold in the US!!! So who cares we will continue to be burdened with over priced crap. Besides they are moving quickly in the US to take the personal car or truck from the average person or family. Just Saying
