RACE Software: Pioneering Next-Level Suspension Design With Innovate UK Support
Innovation in automotive suspension is evolving faster than ever, and RACE Software is at the forefront of this movement. We're thrilled to share an update on our ongoing project, supported by Innovate UK, which adds powerful new visual tools to redefine how suspension systems are developed.
Traditional vehicle suspension development is costly, time-consuming, and environmentally inefficient. Extensive prototyping and physical testing consume months of work, add significantly to costs, and often hamper flexibility.
Enter RACE Software, our cloud-based simulation tool designed to disrupt the industry. With the addition of 3D animation features, users can visualise the motion, forces, and moments of a suspension system in real time. Additionally, engineers can compare multiple simulation results visually, making it easier to understand and optimise design changes. In 1 minute, our platform can conduct complex kinematics and compliance analysis, reducing the need for physical prototyping. The results? Faster time to market, more optimised vehicle designs, and a reduced carbon footprint.
Thanks to the support from Innovate UK, we kicked off our current project on 1st of May. Since then, our team has been on track as planned for completion by 31st of January 2025. We are building a more cost-effective and efficient automotive design process that will empower both large-scale manufacturers and emerging firms.
As the automotive sector moves towards electric and autonomous vehicles, more adaptable and efficient design tools are critical. RACE Software is leading this shift, ensuring that complex suspension systems can be virtually perfected before any physical model is built.
