The irony is that my ex-Church's Pastor hated him and i loved him and that was the beginning of my questioning Protestantism that led me to the Catholic Church.

I'm so glad and thank God I'm a Catholic. At Mass each Sunday or Holiday, my Parish Priest will read the Gospel and spent about 10 minutes homily which informs and enlightens and gives several points 'to take with us' for the week ahead from the Readings /Gospel.
Let us pray for and when we're talking to them, thank our Priests.

I'm turning 66 next week, and I was born into evangelical Protestantism. I grew up with this.
Late in life I had my fill of it, not just the endless denigrating of Catholicism, but the obligatory "DIY church of me", the preponderance of narcissistic and postering clergy, and a drift towards feminized Christology and progressivism, particularly amongst the leadership and seminaries.
I walked away, was received into the Orthodox Church ☦️ (Antiochian jurisdiction), and never looked back.
My niece soon followed, and she was received into the Roman Catholic Church, where she later met and married her physician husband.
