Official Maltego tutorial [2] - Mapping Sony

This is an official Maltego tutorial by Paterva. This is the second video in a series of videos that will teach you how to harness the power of Maltego.

In this video we show how to use sets of transforms, basic footprinting techniques, transform settings and using the detail view. We also discuss one of the transforms in more detail.

The aim here was to obtain a very basic footprint of Sony's infrastructure within Maltego. Note that all information obtained is freely available. This is not a 'hacking' video.

So Im a Private Investigator and Geospatial C.O.P. Analyst and ran across Maltego when an instructor in one of my CompTIA classes said it is a MUST HAVE. Let me say, Holy Crap this is every other tool/site/script I use from a gazillion different sites and sources all balled into one...PLUS features I didnt know I could call upon the power of! :) Fantastic, and I honestly don't know how this is not widely known in the P.I. world. It should be the first program a new PI learns/buys.Also,   Excellent tutorials! The massive number of features this program offered was totally overwhelming when starting it up for the first time. So I came here and understood every single part without having to replay for clarity of understanding. Great job and again, THANK YOU! :)

Uhmmm - it's a coffee shop, don't know why it looked 'teckish' to you. In later videos we've used a lapel mic which produced better sound quality.
