I take more videos especially when I travel. I find it more enjoyable to watch my travel videos than just looking at the photos. I don’t understand companies improving their phone cameras just for photography and not improving video recording capabilities with it as well. So yeah, props to Pixel for finally improving their video recording. iPhone makes really good videos, but decided to go with Xperia Pro-I this year. Got the Pro-I cheaper than a 512GB iPhone 13 Pro here in Hong Kong.

This e-sim strategy is only going to give carriers more power. Consumer will suffer in the end with no ability to change sims. If they are going this route I can only imagine Apple wants to become one of the carrier

Considering no one buys phones on carriers in Europe, I'm curious to see how Apple will solve that problem... As the EU will not allow them to force people into carrier contracts they don't want.

Idk I don't think I'd buy a portless iPhone. Wireless charging isn't fast enough.
OPPO seems to have done a better job on creating a foldable that hides the crease, I hope samsung is taking notes

Absolutely essential to have good video. I use that way more than photos. I film Auto racing and I want and need good video performance. I used to own an iPhone and I'll admit the video was good but I really like that I can pause recording on my Galaxy phone. Plus I have the Galaxy S21 Ultra so it's pretty good.

A good 1080p video recording should be sufficient for most people, even with previous-gen iPhone-like image stabilization!

Is there something different about Pixels shipped to the UK? I've owned every version and the only problem I've ever had was the fingerprint scanner on the 6 Pro which was fixed by an update.

Honestly if the iPhone goes to SIM-free activation it might be when I finally fully switch over to Android, unless carriers get a really good activation/swap option set up. I currently switch my card between an iPhone, Galaxy Note, and Z Flip multiple times a month.

Considering how the 888 and it's successor im the new motorola phone have been thermal throttling on a very predictable and consistent basis, I am now hoping to see how the new Exynos will perform. Also curious about the new Mediatek processors too - Qualcomm needs the competition.

Videos are extremely important... I deal more with pics, but when occasion call for it, having a great video device in pocket makes so much difference...
During vacay trips, its nice to make videos of the places you visit for good memories and great videos makes it even better

Yes video quality is important as these prices continue to be high and higher, especially on foldables I think all areas should be pretty strong

If video on the S22 becomes video king on Android that'll likely be an instant pickup for me, video is very to me. Now let's hope it goes into the Z flagship as well...

I'm going to vote with my wallet the moment companies all start trying to remove the charging port. Wireless charging just isn't as convenient as simply plugging it in. It's less efficient, and you can't use your device as easily.

I don't understand how/why Google can't just make a phone worthy of having with high end parts.
But, you want a phone without bugs that will just work for the next couple years?? Skip the premium phone and the high price, for an "a" series pixel for half/third the money. A plastic body that won't shatter, a good chip that will do just about anything you want (except stream 4k @ 120fps, because the screen is not 4k or 120fps) and basically the same camera as the flagship.
