There’s a distinct reason dogs act this way. She’s doing this because of a medical condition called being a good girl. The condition occurs in dogs when they breath, exist, or do anything really.

🥺 our family dog does something similar- I had a migraine the other day and blindly handed her a treat out the door (I didn’t want to ignore her) and she carefully put it down on the mat and looked up at me as if to say ‘I know you’re not feeling good, but could I just have a little pet before I eat?’

So I did give her a pet and she then happily took off with her treat 😂 I absolutely love that girl.
