By virtue of existing, Hank creates what many consider from Hegel's Phemenolgy of the Soul to be a thesis. This antithesis, as we observe in Hank Sr.'s Son, set a kind of trend of rejection of a greater power and finding comfort in a basterdized idea of God to Justify the Glorification of Hedonisms and consumer identities that become prevalent post WW2 (NASCAR, Football, Etc).

To quote Ceasar from Fallout NV, "Thesis and Antithesis, the conflict is inevitable." As we shall see in our life time, this philisophical dialectic will play out and we shall witness what Hegel considered the "SYNTHesis." A combination of both ideas and dare I say, a pretty COOL SYNTHesis.

holy fuck this is so fucking true
so sad that country 99% of country now is so fluffy and cute. it's honestly fine to have songs like that too, but SO FUCKING MANY. It's so difficult to find good country since they're at the bottom of an opaque sea of garbage. even one of my favortie songs "this morning I was born again" by slaid cleaves is an old Woody Guthrie poem. I mean, he did it great justice, but it's not like he wrote in the modern day. he's still good though.
