Had the privilege of seeing him live and I can confirm Sturgill Simpson is an absolute monster on stage. This is the only video that comes close to capturing how great it is. If you're a fan, and you should be, see them live.

Wife and I saw him live in Cleveland and they played this hard for 2 straight hours. No opening act, just came out, started crushing, and left. I've never been a huge country fan because it all kind of sounds like the same top 40 nonsense to me, but Sturgill is something different and I can't get enough.

Just dropping in from late 2024. Seeing Sturgill Simpson in four days in Bend, OR. Had tickets for a May 2020 show in Portland… but I think we all know what happened there.

Couldn’t be more excited. I thought my chance to see Sturgill live had been dashed by the pandemic. It’s a bucket list show for me.
