Black Panther may be good for morale for the people of Africa and an overall good movie, but I feel movies like this will be more helpful in the long run in helping to inspire the next generation in how they can improve the lives of their fellow Africans and to bring Africa closer to reaching its true potential.

This is such an inspirational story. I visited Malawi in 1997 and was awed by its beauty.

This film is Oscar worthy.

I watched this movie and it’s an Oscar worthy movie . Netflix should push it for next year oscars because it’s incredible. It’s not the story of the African who give up but it’s the story of the African who stay positive no matter the condition. I mean he sneaked into class to learn. How many kids in the west you know would do that? Here when we hear «  because of tomorrow’s snow, classes are closed. » we celebrate and this guy did just the opposite. That drive to succeed, I’ve seen it with so many Africans.

What is great is this guy could have just left Malawi and made an OK live in the west, but no he chose to keep going back and helping people in his home country. Speaks volumes for his country and its people.

Thank you William Kamkwamba for showing how perseverance and a questioning mind can help one find a way forward when all around you hope has been lost. Thank you Chiwetel Ejiofor for telling William's story so capably. Through your wonderful acting and direction, I felt his family and communities despair and could share in the joy of overcoming a terrible set of circumstances. Thank you Netflix for helping this truly inspirational film be seen by so many. I'm going to tell as many as I can to watch it. It's the least I can do.

I watched it today. Omg it was a wonderful movie. I didn’t know it was a true story, then I researched and I was amazed when I started watching documentaries about him. William is an inspiring man. His story is incredible. Everybody should watch this movie around the world. Excellent job !!!! Top best stories.
