I love my Xbox. My family loves Xbox. Game Pass is a game changer. Sony exclusives are great but I'm not a huge fan of the majority of the "one an done" 15 hour games for full price. Keep bringing games to Game Pass and I'll have no complaints.

Haven't watched but the first few minutes (I will continue watching), but the reason people are concerned isn't that they think Xbox is going to go away, the fear is that they no longer have faith in the platform itself. If Xbox makes a next-gen console, but all its exclusives go to PlayStation, will the next Xbox even manage to sell 10 million units? And with such low sales, would third party publishers even support it any longer?

I still strongly believe that exclusives are what drives sales. I simply would not have bought a Switch if it didn't have Zelda or Mario. GamePass is a nice benefit, but I don't think GamePass alone will be enough to drive sales. Nor do I think a handheld will save them either because they are already competing against Switch and Steam Deck, which will presumably also have Xbox games (except Switch will have exclusives). In fact, I would go as far as to say that Xbox going day and date on PC also significantly hurt their console sales.

I could be wrong. Maybe PlayStation will start going multiplatform too. It would be an interesting world to be sure. But I haven't seen any indication yet. And secondly, perception is reality, and clearly Xbox fans are losing faith in the brand whether that's justified or not.

Im in the chats on most of the Xbox podcasts (big and small), the only people upset with Xbox are a handful of the Xbox podcasters and influencers. No one in the live streams are complaining.

What I want is for Xbox to not be the most skipped platform. Even on PC, almost nothing comes to their own store, they go to Steam. I want my preferred "ecosystem" (since y'all like that word that much), to have THE MOST AMOUNT OF GAMES.

Normally my ps5 collects dust but the last two weeks it’s been my Xbox instead. My problem is no promise that we will continue to get consoles in the future. I don’t believe anything they say any more. Will 3rd party developers stop making their games for a system that doesn’t sell? Next gen for Xbox will prolly be the worst sales for their console in history. I never gave up on Xbox until they decided to give up on us.

Some people are dumb. Xbox doesn't ever take away content. Heck, you can even still re-download games that have been delisted by the publisher, as long as you purchased the title prior to delisting. Does Sony let you do that? No? And yet Xbox is getting hate when they do things much, much better than Sony (like getting cloud saves, or only having to buy a game once and getting it for both console and PC, etc). These haters need to get a life or something lol. 😂

No Destin its not what got them to bail its the final straw after MS shitting on xbox gamers since midway through 360 gen. We have given them the benefit of the doubt, and now I am out, steam deck, steam OS, fuck ms, they have no feet left due to shooting themselves in them so often, they dont have a leg to stand on anymore

Destin let's be honest. Everyone's over it. Everyone's over "Xbox is trying" because it's not. They gave up and now Xbox has become a boring third party publisher. And they'll be treated like one. Nobody cares. Nobody talks about EA or Ubisoft lol. We will talk about the games once they come, IF they are good and thats it. There is no hype about their shit because we'll get to play it inevitably no matter where we go. All their stuff has become filler by default until its out and a 10/10.

I have all three consoles and a pc. I still use my Xbox the most because my kids adore it. So I want to stick to the same platform as them. It’s easy for them and their family settings app is so much better than Nintendo and Sony’s. I’m all in for their vision laid out last week. It’s honestly nice not being so tied to my console, their streaming has gotten better.
