Great tutorial. Those Kohler engines use at least three different linkage setups that I know of, that one with the vacuum choke pull-off being the oldest. It makes ordering replacement carbs for them a PITA, especially when the seller has no clue which one he’s sending you.

this is a video i was looking for. i hooked up my last lawnboy kholer the way hes describing at about 3:00 so im glad to know the correct way..the mower works fine in fact sounds better hooked up that way. i have a similar kholer mwoer where its hooked up like this and it sounds too strong and seems like its about to blow or overheat so maybe as an improvise hooking it up the way i did the first time would be better suited but oh well ill leave this one as is..

So my son in law told me his Kohler powered Toro wouldn't start. I took air box off and discovered the choke linkage missing! How that happened I have no idea. Son in law is completely inept mechanically and wouldn't know how to remove the air box or carb, etc. I just simply installed a manual choke lever I had it now starts and runs fine. I am curious as to what would have caused the choke linkage to go missing. Thanks Tommy enjoy your videos immensely.

Tommy what brand of fuel line are you using? I bought that Cocomart fuel line on Amaz....what junk....every fuel line I have replaced are stiff since March. It ain't fuel I bought 25 feet of B and S fuel line.. This really sucks. My customers mowers and my

Hi . I can see that I have same lawnmower and the link coming from the automatic Choke link is ending with a płaskich part that is missing and become of that I am missing tle link that you are talking about often beeing installed incorrectly. Can you tell me where I can find parts like that ?
