While the logic in RN is running in javascript, which is in fact slower than native, all of React Native's COMPONENTS map direclty to native components, which flutter's definitely do not.

Tell me you’re a Flutter fanboy without telling me you’re a Flutter fanboy. I’ve used both and React Native is still at the top for me. Flutter is in fact good and improving, but when you want to build more complex apps, it is really a struggle. To add to that, Flutter has changed a lot of things that, many documentation and tutorials out there no longer work. React Native community is still vastly larger, and being in JS, you honestly have the ability to do so much, especially now that they’ve improved it so much
