Doesn't seem to be possible to skip to the final boss fight like this, sadly: I ran this route myself and even though Rhulk does spawn at the end, he only creates the forcefield and that's it. Walking up the stairs does not start the encounter as it normally would.

EDIT: Side note though -- I've noticed in some other raids/dungeons that even when the person doing the skipping cannot activate certain triggers, another player who joins them might be able to. I haven't been able to test this, but there's a slim chance it *might* still be possible to start the final encounter by skipping here like this, then letting friends join and trigger the encounter for you.

At this point, if it wasn't for the friends I play D2 with I'd retire from it! Along side all the nerfs they're doing or getting ready to do, they haven't fixed the glitches aka Duality and haven't added Dawn Chourus back yet which is the only thing that makes Day Break any good or worth using! Yet, we've had how many patches so far this season and those things haven't been addressed or in the case of Dawn Chourus will not be added back till next season (which I'm wondering if that'll be nerfed then as well!). Not to mention, this seasons exotics have already been nerfed or are still locked (Fallen Sunstar, I used this earlier this season and thought it was really good but when compared to Crown Tempests recent buff I'd much rather go with the Crown and not sure what happened with Fallen Sunstar but when I used it yesterday it seemed like I needed a lot more ionic traces then earlier in the season to refill class abilities. The chest piece for hunters far as I know is still locked but when it's available I expect it to be nerfed so more then likely it will be useless trash! I don't use my titan much at all but I heard this seasons exotic for them is garbage! Quicksilver the pre order weapon, didn't even have it 2 weeks and it got nerfed badly so its almost useless! I'd rather use my Krait as it kills quicker now! Divinity will be nerfed from 30 to 15% debuff damage if it hasn't been already making more raid bosses a bit tougher but we'll see. Point is, for those who haven't got the DLC or Div yet will it be worth getting or going thru the quest and GOS to obtain it?! Personally, I haven't touched GOS after I got Div! I'm not going to mention whose fault it is for Div getting nerfed (or so i believe) just so they can practically be guaranteed to win every Day 1 Raid going forward! On this aspect, I expect to see more tether hunters as Tractor Cannon just doesn't have the required range most raid bosses require. I have no problems hitting crits and barely used Div myself but the success or failure of a raid will come down to how well your teammates hit crits and like most, I dont have many friends or clan mems I run regularly with but maybe Div will still be relevant. About the eager edge nerf, I thought if it'd ever be nerfed for anything it'd be to stop ppl from eager edging you off the map and or into a wall and killing you! I've had many flawless runs ruined by this and many of my Gambit motes stolen by it and frankly, Bungie should do something about that because it's bs! Last and maybe not least, harder end content! What in tf Bungie?!! I ran legendary WQ to help a friend yesterday and it is much, much more difficult then when I last ran it solo! I'm assuming they power capped it at its recommend light level because I'm almost 1600 and was still having a difficult time! I get they want to keep it competitive but damn, tone it down just a little bit especially, with everything they just nerfed! If you're wondering, I'm no slouch when it comes to PVE! The last thing (I promise), when I was playing Nightfall yesterday I noticed although I was amped, my reload speed was normal! Did I miss something?! In regular stuff it's too easy and when amped you reload weapons super fast but where it's really needed when amped, nothing! Okay, I'm done ranting but those are things I've noticed!
