Get Raid Loot with NO FIRETEAM! (Destiny 2)

This is my updated Destiny 2 Guide on how to get ALL the solo raid loot you can get in 2024. You can get 27 chests per week (provided you have 3 characters) across EVERY Raid in Destiny 2: Crota's End, Deep Stone Crypt, Vow of the Disciple, Root of Nightmares, Last Wish, Vault of Glass, and Garden of Salvation. While Last Wish chests do not give spoils, they do give any gear you can aquire from the raid, no matter if you got it before or not. They even drop red borders.

The last wish chests do not require you to have already acquired the loot for it to drop. Very handy as a solo player

For actual solo players:
there’s only two chests that give you actual raid stuff and they’re both in last wish, so everything else will give you spoils but you can use those to get raid exotics from vaulted raids.

For Morgeth, you can go right instead of into the cave and jump up that tree to get to the chest as well. It might require some more precise jumping but it's faster

Alternate Titan method for crossing gap in Last Wish that does not require eager edge sword or super: Equip Strand, Strafe Lift, and Armamentarium for 2 grapple grenades - Jump off ledge, boost straight forward, when boost runs out grapple forward, boost, 2nd grapple, boost, use your 3 melee charges to keep carrying you forward and you should be safely across. If you don't get the timing down and use up all your grapple/melee charges before reaching the other side hit a panic Super and melee the rest of the way.

Btw, there is a very easy out of bounds in the dreaming city patrol so that f2p players can get to the first last wish chest since you can get all the loot without unlocking it at all

The Solo last wish raid chest will drop guns and gear that you have not found yet. I have never done a Last Wish raid but I get raid guns and gear from the chest.

For Vault of Glass, if you get a post Templar checkpoint you can get all four chests solo. You load in, backtrack to get chests 1 and 2 then go back, do the Gorgon’s maze puzzle to get chest 3 and continue out of the maze to the jumping puzzle for chest 4.

You can get Shuro chest if you go to Morgeth first. There's an out of bounds path & a loading zone like Root/Garden. Also, if Garden does get refreshed with craftable weapons, they'd better add weapons to the secret chests.

For Vow of the Disciple, DO NOT kill the Abominations. Getting rid of the Pervading Darkness is a huge waste of time.
If you just sparrow through and get all the nodes for the secret chest door to open, if you die you will spawn exactly where you died.

This got me to do my old last wish routing for the chests for the first time in months, and I got a recon/explosive light apex predator on the morgeth chest. Thanks fallout!

Edit: Tip! When you’re about to load in the new area, make sure to jump towards the new area, load in the area, and die. If you load in the area and stand on a platform, then jump and die, you will only respawn on the last thing you stood on IN THAT AREA. I hope this helps:)

For Root if you're on console you can just sword swing past the loading zone instead of lowering frames. Just make sure Eager Edge isn't procc'd or you'll go slamming into the opposing wall

In the same vein as this video; please make an updated video on how to make every public event heroic (and why it should always be done). Most public events I can make heroic and successfully complete solo, my biggest obstacle however is other-ignorant gradians.

I watched the old video when it came out, and started grabbing the Last Wish chests on every character almost every week

I now have every single piece of legendary loot you can get in Last Wish, and i still have never completed a single encounter

For anyone with social anxiety, you can do some of these raids with no comms (probably not GoS or Vow but the rest), just maybe some typing to communicate who should do what. If you watch the raid guides on YouTube and form your own group, you get to make the rules and it’s much easier to deal with people who want to flame for whatever reason because you can just kick them and find someone else. It’s a process but most of the time is just a smooth run. And you only have to do the raid once or twice and then most of these chest farms and you’ll have everything eventually
