Here in Portugal we cut them in really thin slices and we season it with a lot of lemon. Then just cover it with flour and fry them. It's pretty good actually. You should try it!

Soak the carp in milk for 24 to 48 hours to get rid of the fishy taste do a egg wash with beer batter 2 dips then when u cook it add banana peppers in the pan or jalapenos or both along with some of the pepper juices from in the can❤ like this comment so he can see it ❤ that's the best way i have had carp

I’ve cooked carp. I’ve used Everglades seasoning and used all purpose flour. Taste amazing.

I have smoked it and its great. Also there is a town near me that has a carpfest. They do a carp chowder that is unbelievable. Of course they dont give out the recipe. Great video.

If u gut it out clean it scale it and heat up a disc or a big guac with oil fried that shit is bomb. The meat will come of the bone and the little bones will be crispy

Next time you get one, try smoking it. Salt, brown sugar, pepper and maple syrup brine overnight, smoke it for a couple of hours with cherry or oak wood. It'll help get a lot of that fat and blood out of the meat. If you do it like that, to me it almost tastes like ham.
