Active Directory Netlogon Sysvol folder missing Windows Server 2016 | Sysvol Replication | Issue Fix

Hi Guys,

one thing i wld like to know is that what kind of method is this whether it is a non authoritative restore or authoritative restore

Wonderfull after moving all 5 roles to the new DC, I could not edit group policy, I then moved the 5 roles back-over to the old DC, but this did not resolve the problem. After applying your fix I can now edit my group policies, ps windows server 2022 did not copy the sysvol and Netlogon shares over it looks like server 2022 just connects to the old server to get the information. but this could be wrong and it looks like I will experiment before finally moving over all the roles to the new server. Video worked to create the two folders but we are stuck as the policies folder is missing DFS is replicating but still no policies folder on the domain controller we are trying to upgrade to any ideas would be appreciated.

I am getting alerts regarding netlogon issue in DC Servers but when I check, netlogon service always running fine in the DCs. Can u help me here what could be the reason for those alerts?

And fyi, do not do this if the DC missing the replicated sysvol share is the authoritative DC. Bye bye GPOs

After performing above steps as per video I can only see sysvol folder not Netlogon.

I dont have Sysvolready in regedit (..netloggon>parameters>" there is not exist sysvolready") what should i do ??
