In f1 2012, the ai spin by making the corner perfectly and then randomly turning the other why with no smoke or skid marks.

AI "mistakes" in these games is just them pitting the throttle to the floor like Perez in Monaco, except worse.

Actually i looked up this because, in 2020 they were much more fun crashing together, i had a T1 title crssh between Bottas and Hamilton, still remember it, however in 2021 without mods i didnt got anything

I love that they make mistakes sometimes. I had someone spin out right in front of me, and another time someone's engine went up in smoke. In old racing games and even many games today, the AI never crashes.
