This movie REALLY moved my kids (11 and 7) emotionally. They loved it and immediately came up with theories explaining the magical realism elements. It was a work of art.

I thought it was great I think you need to have a more open creative mind to watch it. I was thinking of the dialogue in my head of what they could be saying to each other and tryna figure out what was their purpose, yes they are acting like normal animals but there IQ went up a little hence they know how to steer the boat. But thought it was a great film good animation and if you love animals you will love this movie and be stressed out about since nature can be beautiful and terrifying at the same time

Thank you for giving an honest review. This movie is way too overglazed ngl. people calling it the greatest animated movie of all time when the story was interesting at best never cried once during the movie only thing that nearly made me cry was the whale death scene because he was my second favorite character. I dont know why people call this emotional. If you want a good movie, watch the wild robot. It's 10 times better than flow. the maximum i would give this is a 7/10 and that me being nice. Also, can someone please explain why in the world did the bird just ascend into the sky and the cat didn't? What does that scene even mean. In my opinion, flow was a alright movie
