There are nth no. of recording tutorials on you tube. I liked this one the most for it's lucidness, clarity, the right tempo for beginners and a smiling face. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the tutorial. I had no idea I had to do those steps in audacity with the normalization and reverb. I'll have to start adding it in my next vid. Much thanks 😎

Thank you very much. This helped me a lot! I bought the scarlett solo set as you recommended. Thanks again! :)

Great tips. I like to add a short delay rather than reverb to get that big 80s pop sound.

Excellent introduction: thorough and pedagogical.

I’ve been recording myself play for a few years now and own a somewhat aged Scarlett iSolo. I’m looking to change now mainly for 1 reason. The headphone volume tends to hurt my old-man ears, because there’s no way to adjust the direct monitoring volume mix between the PC and the microphone. I think that’s a feature that people who play loud instruments like us should think about.

In regards to USB mics, I'd like to mention the Samson G Track Pro. Amazing mic, for any recording.

I LOVE Tomplay! That's the only app I use to play with backing tracks. I know there's a record function within the app. I tried using it the other day but there seems like there's a slight delay. How do U use Tomplay and record like U did in your video especially if you need to drag it into Audacity?

Very helpful. Bigger Question though; How do you add the video into this all. The actual video of you playing.

I've just joined your channel and as a beginner who started 1yr ago I love your videos. They are very informative.
What are your thoughts on the NU-X B6 wireless system? I've been thinking of getting one but know nothing about this kind of thing

What about the next step, how do you video the presentation and the play-along that I just watched?
Thanks

How do you avoid copy right striking with the backing track

Hi Jeremy. One question, what do you hear in the headphones? I see a lot of musicians with headphones on and have wondered that for a long time. Backing track or yourself?
