How to Create a Data Log with a CO2 Gas Sensor using Termite 3.4 | Tutorial

Показать описание
In this video, we demonstrate how to create a data log with a 100% Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensor and a personal computer. We demonstrate just how quick and easy it is to use the free Terminal Emulator (Termite 3.4) software with minimal cost, ease of use, and incredibly fast results. Additionally, this tutorial will also demonstrate how to test a raw gas sensor without having to solder it onto a circuit board or integrate it into a system or device!
Needed supplies:
- CO2Meter ExplorIR®-M 100% CO2 Sensor (GC-0025)
- Sensor Manual
- RS232 USB Cable
- Cable testing leads/clips
- Terminal Emulator (Termite 3.4)
- Computer
The 100% Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor used in this tutorial brings solid-state electronics to NDIR CO2 sensors. The sensor also uses LEDs to deliver ultra-low-power and rugged/vibration-resistant performance. It is most commonly used to provide full-featured capabilities in industrial, scientific, engineering, or OEM applications. It measures incredibly fast and effectively at a 2 Hz measurement rate.
