Also reminds me of my handsome fella named Rusty (in case you didn't guess he was a white and orange tabby, with a perfectly striped tail that he always curved slightly at the top making it look like he had a candy cane instead of a tail).

So I had a wood stove type of fireplace and he would lay down on the carpet a mere foot away and just lay himself out like he was sitting on the damn beach trying to get a sun tan. I was always saying to him like, "my man, how exactly are you finding this comfortable? Did you by any chance forget you got a full length fur coat on? Maybe you should just back it up just a little, or consider limiting the time you spend in front of this indoor campfire?"

But after him completely ignoring me, other than just purring as I sat there next to him petting him while talking to him, I would then be like, "aight you do you boo, f*ck it, ah yo, you wanna roast some cat nip and marshmallows with me homie? Oh you do, well then go find a dog to get us some good sticks, and if you can't find a dog, I'll just find us a man to do that same task!" LMFAO 🤣💀❤️🐾

(and I definitely miss that absolute baller of feline.)

Our cat is 100% the boss of this house. 😅
Whoever is awake when the sun comes up has to open the blinds so he can lie in his spot and look outside.
He gave my husband a bedtime.
And when the man finishes getting ready for bed, cat comes to get me so I'll go tuck him in.
Then when I go to bed, he tucks me in by kneading his way up from my feet to my shoulder and then down to my feet. Because that's how we tuck in the husband.
Sometimes he'll forget that I'm home and run around the house yelling for me. Then I call his name and he comes running to jump on me.
If he wants love and you don't give it to him Right That Second, he will just press the top of his head against the nearest object and pretend to be the most pitiful, tragic, unloved waif to ever walk the planet.
He knocks his toys under things and then cries until we get them out.
He yells at bugs that are out of reach like he expects them to fly down into his mouth. Sometimes he cries at us to pick him up so that he may reach them himself.
If we get up for something and come back to him where we were sitting, we will just sit somewhere else.


He has his own room. 😅
