That's exactly how we got our orange cat. coming home from work at like 10pm, and he came up to me at my front door. I said "hi little one!" He gave him a small pat on the head and expected him to walk away. I opened the door, and he ran in and promptly sprinted back out cause he must have run into the big husky already living there. I didn't see him again till two days later it was the weekend, and I was getting back from getting breakfast, and he was waiting for me. chilled with him outside for a while, and when my roommate got home, I introduced the cat to him and his husky. The cat was much more chill now that it didn't run into the big dog in the dark. Sully has been cuddly ball of love since.

I love the cat distribution system joke, But also don't wait around for it if you want a cat. There is the absolute sweetest cuddly orange cat at our local shelter. As soon as I opened her cage she crawled onto my chest for cuddles, purring like a motor. Unfortunately I can't get a cat right now but I feel sad in that cage each day.

Our kitten fractured her front left arm when she was first born, but she wouldn't stop playing with her siblings so we had to sock her periodically until we could get her to the vet. The vet loved that we socked her and told us ro keep doing it for the next 2 weeks until we could get her back there for a checkup. We called it Sock Time and it was epic
